look, Riethe poses a very interesting problem to MD:
His offering is (supposedly) very attractive to each individual investor, but investing in Riethe might cause negative externalities for the whole of MD (think of it as similar to environmental pollution IRL).
You cannot prevent people in MD from investing (legal regulation, cap and trade, whatever...)
Only way to make sure they don't invest in Riethe is to make a more generous offer to investors yourself. If investing in Riethe would be so horribly bad for MD as a whole, I am certain you would find many MD participants willing to donate for the common cause of "buying out" all prospective investors by offering them better returns ^^.
full disclosure: I intend to invest 200m ISK if Riethe's offering goes live in the form it is currently advertised.

Originally by: RAW23 Actually, thinking about it, perhaps, Fr. 32 is better: "The one only wise, wants and does not want to be called with the name of [Mme. Pinkerton]".
him? hen to sophon? surely you're joking...
(I love that weird mixture between (abstract) mono- and (personified) polytheism throughout the fragments)

hmm... there's nothing wrong with the translation (except that "only" could be seen as a little misleading... it's "(the one only) wise" and not "the one (only wise)").
I was just trying to make a little joke on Herakleitos identifying "to sophon" (the wise) (as an abstract concept) with Zeus who (in his personified role) is not exactly the big thinker amongst the Greek deities (which nicely ties in with me having to politely reject the comparison with a god ).
As common with Greek thinkers, Herakleitos generally identifies Zeus with "the god/the divine as such", but at the same time he explicitly refers to him by the attributes which characterize his role in the world of hands-down polytheism (thunderbolt - combine 32, 41 and 64), i.e. a weird personification which only makes my little joke possible.
edit: you don't quite see how this post belongs into "Market Discussions"? ... inconceivable

Hexxx had his gender changed?
